Do I need an account to start?
A free account takes seconds and there is no card to enter. It keeps your sessions safe and in sync on every device you use.
Is my data private?
Your sessions sync to your account so they follow you across devices, and your stats are only ever visible to friends you approve. The AI is the part that never leaves: it runs on your own GPU, so no AI company ever sees your notes.
What exactly is Synapzz AI?
A real language model and speech model that download once (about 2 GB together) and run entirely in your browser, on your GPU. They write your flashcards and transcribe spoken recall. There is no AI server behind it: no cloud and no API key.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is a single one-time payment of $35. The AI, every Pro tool and all future updates are yours forever. No monthly fees, no renewal.
Does it work offline?
Sessions keep running through connection drops — everything is cached locally and syncs to your account the moment you're back online. The AI itself runs fully on your device, no connection needed.
Can I use it on my phone?
The timers, session log, flashcards and social features work in any modern mobile browser. Synapzz AI is the exception: it needs WebGPU, so generating cards and transcribing recall is a desktop job (Chrome or Edge), and noticeably slower on phones where it runs at all.
